OUR IN-HOUSE DIAGNOSTIC CAPABILITIES INCLUDE:

- Serologic testing for lyme disease and feline viral diseases
- Urinalysis

- Doppler blood pressure monitoring
- Digital Radiography
- Electrocardiography (ECG)
- Anesthesia machines and multi-parameter monitoring equipment including ECG, pulse oximeter, blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate and core temperature
Immediate Emergency Care
Seek immediate care if your pet is experiencing any of the following symptoms:- Refusal to drink for 24 hours or more
- Choking, difficulty breathing or nonstop coughing and gagging
- Obvious signs of pain or extreme anxiety
- Bleeding from the nose, mouth, rectum, coughing up blood, or blood in urine
- You suspect or know your pet has eaten something poisonous (such as antifreeze, xylitol, chocolate, rodent poison, etc.)
- Severe bleeding or bleeding that doesn’t stop within 5 minutes
- Seizures and/or staggering
- Inability to urinate or pass feces (stool), or obvious pain associated with urinating or passing stool
- Injuries to your pet’s eye(s)
- Heat stress or heatstroke
- Fractured bones, severe lameness or inability to move leg(s)
- Severe vomiting or diarrhea for more than 2 episodes in a 24-hour period
If we feel we cannot give your pet the necessary care, we will refer you to an appropriate specialist.
We offer discounts for humane organizations: Town of Marshfield Animal Shelter, Standish Humane Society, and South Shore Humane Society. We also offer a Senior Citizen discount and a Military Discount.
